Hello everyone,
The SMC valves references in the soft robotics toolkit are quite hard to come by for some reason.
Does anyone know of any other small fast valves that are available for purchase in the US? I assume there must be some Festo valve that works but there are so many in their catalogs. I guess I could sit down and compare parameters but was wondering if someone has had good luck with other valves.

There are a ton of options. It really depends on what your budget is and what you need in terms of performance. Do you have an idea of how fast they need to actuate, what pressure they need to operate at, the size of valve you're looking for, and what airflow you're looking for.

There are cheap solenoid valves all over ebay. Asco and Parker have tons of solenoid valves on offer as well. Adafruit and Reynolds sell valves too.
